Key Details:

  • The goal was to adapt the 2D look into a 3D Model. Hand Painting the textures allowed for a 2D effect over the 3D models.

  • The Color of Change - Treehouse Interior

Scene Description:

  1. Complete 3D Environment of Treehouse Interior

  2. Environment Breakdown 1: Only walls and window frames.

  3. Environment Breakdown 2: Adds Main House furniture and basic infrastructure. Railings, Tables, Chairs, Cabinets, Shelves, etc.

  4. Environment Breakdown 3: Adds the rest of the house infrastructure and small resident items; Plants, Pillows, Lanterns, Books, Clothes, etc

  5. Environment Breakdown 4: Add in exterior elements; trees, foliage, etc

  6. Complete 3D Environment. Animated Character zip lining through Treehouse

Key Details:

  • Complete Set Environment. Intended to show the process of modeling in the workflow. The project goal was to build a treehouse that one of the main characters could zipline through on there was from one part of their journey to the next. The interior space was meant to feel homey while also being big and spacious enough to travel through. Example of means of travel.

  • Intended to show off the specific style of modeling and texturing for this project; as well as the organized topology of the modeling. Example of a vehicle (of this world).

  • Complete set Environment. Intended to show the effect of the modeling in the environment before and after texturing. Project goal was to make a safe haven for the large framed Character to spend his recreational time making delicate pottery.

  • A complete set environment. Intended to show off a different modeling style. Project Goal was to make a big private library. Only truly intended for a single librarian to roam around and read to their hearts content.

Scene Description:

  1. Animated Sequence 1: Camera moving up through the trees to reveal the exterior of a Treehouse Village

  2. Animated Sequence 2: Fox runs through forest terrain and jumps over a fallen tree in its path

Key Details:

  • Intended to show a more complex and extensive environment set. Examples of plant life, terrain, and buildings. Project goal was to have characters and viewers moving through the forest.
